Bamboo plays an important role in India, it is the Green Gold of the 21st century and is well known as poor men’s timber. India is the second highest bamboo producing country in the world. EHNF explores bamboo conservation and passes on the critical message of the role of music and technology in conservation. The Event explored areas of Asian Elephant conservation, conservation of our natural resources, building banks of our natural assets and honouring the league of extraordinary individuals of the Eastern Himalayas, who contribute to protecting its abundant and critical biodiversity.
