A man from the tea gardens of Assam, Hardev joined the tea industry in 1962 and had the privilege of working with one of the best Tea Companies in the Tea Industry. After his retirement, he served the Government of Vietnam as Advisor on Tea and later joined a multi-national Company to revive tea plantations in Georgia (Ex CIS). He worked for about 10 years in these Countries in conjunction with EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development). Soon after his return to his home country, India, he joined the Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark in residence at Wild Mahseer in January,2013. He has been the thought leader in creating social-economic and environmental impact in the Eastern Himalayas through sustainable tourism at Wild Mahseer.
