Dr. Gunjana Chaudhury
Dr. Gunjana Chaudhury has studied the plant diversity and ecosystem services of sacred groves in Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya. Her research interests include biodiversity conservation, carbon sequestration and climate change, plant-soil nutrient dynamics and ecosystem services. As a consultant at Balipara Foundation, her prime responsibilities include co-ordinating various training programmes and workshops for the Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics TM School, as well as supervising internship programmes. She is an avid reader and an enthusiast of music and movies. She also enjoys hiking occasionally.
