Secondary forest regeneration experimental plot

In 2008 the team decided to prototype a Habitat Restoration method on an 857 m2 barren parking lot. The team collected 15 species of plants including creepers, orchids, grasses, ferns and tree saplings from near by forest reserves and planted them. They let the plants grow without any human interference and in 2015 a biodiversity audit revealed 30+ plant species, including rare species of Tree Ferns & Kaupat.
