Nature plays a significant role in making our existence on the planet possible. Everything we use to live a full life comes under the cycle of nature. It is important to understand the role of an individual in conserving the nature and the steps that needs be taken to ensure the ecological balance.

Group II

Class IX - XII

Topic: Empowering Grassroots Conservationists Grassroots

Conservationists are working extensively towards conservation of our natural resources and assets. The need of the hour is to build initiatives to recognize these grassroots leaders, support them towards their sustainable way of living and document their indigenous knowledge about cultural preservation and conservation.

Group III

Under-Graduate - Post Graduate

Topic: Universal Basic Assets: Towards Sustainable Livelihoods through Nature Capital

While we sit our comfortably air-conditioned coups, there is an entire world out there – from life in the oceans, seas, lakes, deforested areas along with humans who are unable to access the comfort that they are entitled to in its natural state. But what if we already have a solution and all we need to do is implement it in the most efficient way possible? What if we combine the concept of habitat restoration to generating universal basic income? Universal Basic Assets serves as a foundation for conservation and community empowerment for sustainable well-being and to build an equitable society. Basic income does not always have to be cash at hand. The asset that we are trying to put forth here is the nature around us that we have been exploiting for years on end.
