Eastern Himalayan Botanic Ark to participate in Who’s Who session, YETI, 2017

Young Ecologists Talk and Interact, YETI is a unique gathering of ecology students organised entirely by students (www.meetyeti.in). After its conception in 2009 YETI has been successfully held in Bangalore, Guwahati, Dehradun, Nagaland and most recently in Delhi (2016). Over the years this meeting has emerged as one of the largest meeting of ecology, evolution and conservation students in India. YETI is democratically run by a group of student volunteers from different institutions all over India. This event is meant to serve as a friendly and inspiring platform for ecologists, early in their career, to present and discuss their work, exchange ideas, and even strike up collaborations with contemporaries across the country.

The next edition of YETI is scheduled to be held between 4th and 7th January 2017 a Tezpur University, Assam. This year, as with previous editions of the conference there will be a Who’s Who session along with plenaries, popular talks, workshops and other events.

Eastern Himalayan Botanic gardens EHBA will be participating in YETI and showcasing products from the Naturenomics™ Bazaar - Bhela Ghor, Wuya & Saneki for ethnic food, organic dyed clothes & crafts & ethnic weaving.
