Case Study: PEMA THINLEY

Pema’s multifaceted contribution to conservation through his work as a Range Ocer in dierent beats in Bhutan has been proven to be invaluable. He has been providing law enforcement and technical guidance to farmers and local government bodies in matters pertaining to wildlife and forestry. He is also involved in the working and implementation of human-wildlife conict mitigation measures in Bhutan. At present, Pema is the Range Ocer in the Tashichholing Range of Samste, Bhutan under the Department of Forest and Park Services, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, Thimphu.
