The 1st Edition of the Asian Elephants in the Wild: Elephant Talk Conference 2014 was held on the 6th & 7th of November 14 in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was the biggest congregation of environmentalists, conservationists, scientists, researchers, geographers, wildlife managers ever assembled in the North East to deliberate & ponder upon the future of wild elephant populations in India, Myanmar, and Bhutan. The outcomes of the event was represented in the form of a 10 Point Resolution that represented some of the imperatives of conservation.
